Place the passthrough effect on your last node. Parade hardware-encodes the graded image as 10-bit HEVC and advertises it automatically on your LAN.

Direct UVC capture

Connect a compatible capture device straight to iPad. Parade selects its highest available resolution and frame rate, then sends the picture through the same Metal scopes pipeline.

SCOPES & ANALYSIS

Eight ways to stop guessing.

Fast, tactile tools for exposure, color, focus, keying, and continuity. Use them together, isolate a sampled region, or blow a single scope up full-screen.

RGB waveform

Signal-level traces with draggable, resizable panels, temporal smoothing, low-pass conditioning, and full-screen inspection.

Vectorscope

A colorized chroma trace with Rec.709 or Rec.2020 math, adjustable 1–8× gain, and a clean target graticule.

RGB histogram

See channel distribution at a glance. Move it, resize it, or double-tap it into a distraction-free full-screen view.

Exposure false color

An EL Zone-style stop map built from display-linear luminance, adapted for SDR, PQ, and HLG monitoring.

HSL qualifier

Tap a tone, then refine hue, saturation, and luminance windows with softness controls—Resolve-style and live on the picture.

Multi-point IRE

Place and drag up to eight persistent spot meters. Compare faces, cards, practicals, and backgrounds without losing context.

Uniformity key

Sample a screen color and reveal distance bands or a keyed checker view. Uneven green-screen and blue-screen lighting becomes obvious.

Focus peaking

Choose edge, fine-detail, outline, or soft peaking, then set sensitivity, overlay strength, color, and a monochrome underlay.

Parade does the color math explicitly: 10-bit Y′CbCr decoding, the correct transfer function, source primaries into Display P3, and an extended-linear Metal surface for real EDR output on capable iPads.

The current companion plugin is ready for DaVinci Resolve on Apple-silicon Macs. It is ad-hoc signed, runs locally, and does not send video beyond your LAN.

    Download and unzip the Parade OFX bundle.

    Move Parade.ofx.bundle into /Library/OFX/Plugins/.

    Restart DaVinci Resolve. Find Parade under OpenFX → Monitoring.

    Place it on the last node, match the signal color space, and choose your bitrate.

Tip Start at 8 Mb/s for 1080p monitoring. Lower the rate on constrained Wi-Fi.
